The Walt Kehoe English 111 Personal Essay Contest celebrates the voices and stories of entering PVCC students. These essays were all submitted as assignments in English 111 classes. Entries are read and scored anonymously by Writing Center tutors. Walt Kehoe was a tutor in the Writing Center for several years. He gave generously of his time and attention and took delight in working with and learning from a diverse group of students. Walt died in October 2019.
